Elizabeth Shannon - President and Director of Operations
Liz earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing followed by an MBA in Materials Management. She worked for over thirty years in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Her experience includes Purchasing, Planning & Distribution, Inventory Control and Customer Service. She managed small plant purchasing operations and product donations programs, getting critical medical supplies to disaster areas, low income families, special needs clinics, veterinary clinics, free clinics, Native Americans, national immunization drives, and blood banks. She also designed training programs for in house Customer Service personnel and established a product research library for a major pharmaceutical company.
Liz was actively researching the availability of all natural products and pure ingredients when she delightfully discovered J. P. Durga. Over the course of one year, she became familiar with the products and decided to move to the Pacific Northwest to become part of the Durga family.
She joined J.P. Durga in 2003 and is President and Director of Operations. Her duties include distribution, customer service, the purchase of raw materials and packaging, product planning and office management.
